Research Interests
  • 1. Design and synthesis of smart, functionalised amphiphilic macromolecules; investigation of their interfacial behaviour and self-assembled structures; development of multi-stimulus (temperature, pH, light) responsive controlled-release materials; evaluation of their application value as catalysts and drug carriers
  • 2. Assembly and design of inorganic/organic core-shell structured nano- and micro-particles; development of novel, bioactive tissue engineering repair materials and drug carriers with new functionalities
  • 3. Research and development of quasi-solid-state nanosystems for the encapsulation of biomacromolecular drugs and as scaffold materials for in vitro tissue culture
