On the afternoon of March 25,the International Elite Engineering School convened a professional guidance committee seminar on the revision of the undergraduate training program for the class of 2025.The seminar was presided over by Vice Dean Huang Guantuan.In attendance were Jacques Mercadier,the French Dean,representatives from the French companies,including Du Hao from Air Liquide and Kang Jin from Suez Environment Group,as well as department heads and representatives from chemical engineering and technology,polymer materials and engineering,and applied chemistry at East China University of Science and Technology.The purpose of the seminar was to solicit opinions and suggestions from the French Dean,partner employers,and professional professors on the college's training program and curriculum system.This would help the college further integrate the French elite engineering education philosophy and build a new high-end engineering talent-cultivation system with the characteristics of East China University of Science and Technology.

Huang Guantuan first reported to the representatives on the preliminary work for the revision of the undergraduate training program for the class of 2025.The revision aims to cultivate students'broader international vision and the competitiveness of"language+major"composite talents.In the face of the opportunities and challenges of the new era,it seeks to achieve the connotative development of the professional curriculum system empowered by digital intelligence.
