The International Elite Engineering School at East China University of Science and Technology was jointly established by the university and the French Federation of Chemical Engineering Schools. Guided by the principle of excellence in engineering education, the school integrates top-tier educational resources from both China and France to cultivate high-calibre engineering and technological elites and corporate leaders with innovative spirit and international vision.
Located within the main campuses in Xuhui and Fengxian, the International School of Excellence is incorporated into East China University of Science and Technology's unified admissions plan (under the regular batch admissions) and adopts the university's outstanding undergraduate training model. In alignment with the university's educational philosophy and the School's integrated undergraduate-postgraduate training system, the School is now commencing internal selection for the 2025 intake cohort. The specific application process for transfer admission is as follows:

I. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be incoming 2025 freshmen at East China University of Science and Technology, having taken either Physics or Chemistry in their Gaokao , and must present medical examination results confirming no colour blindness, colour deficiency, or olfactory impairment.
II. Programmes Offered
Chemical Engineering and Technology, Applied Chemistry, Polymer Materials and Engineering (100% integrated undergraduate-postgraduate training. Students may freely transfer between the three Double First-Class disciplines within the School during the fourth semester, with no quota restrictions. III. Campus Selection Process
(1) Information Sessions and Consultations
14:00, 7 September: Chimie Shanghai students will share their academic and campus experiences in the military training classroom.
12:30 and 20:30, 7 and 8 September: Four online policy briefing sessions for programme transfers will be held via Tencent Meeting rooms as follows:

By 12 pm on 11 September, students shall submit their signed transfer application form (click to download) to the Chimie Shanghai email address: gjzy@mail.ecust.edu.cn and join the QQ group with ID: 849505038.
(3) Interview and Admission
On 12 September, Chimie Shanghai will conduct interviews (time and location to be announced via the QQ group). No written examination will be held.
On 13 September, the Chimie Shanghai will announce the list of admitted transfer students. Admitted students must settle outstanding tuition fees and arrange for dormitory adjustments. Subsequent course selection will follow the Chimie Shanghai's new student development programme.
