The International Elite Engineering School at East China University of Science and Technology was jointly established by East China University of Science and Technology and École Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Rennes (ENSCR), under the auspices of the French Chemical Engineering Schools Alliance (FGL Alliance). The School integrates France's elite engineering education resources with the strengths of both Chinese and French talent development approaches, implementing the principles of excellence in engineering education to cultivate high-calibre engineering professionals and business leaders with innovative spirit and international vision. The four undergraduate programmes offered by the School – Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Technology, Environmental Engineering, and Polymer Materials and Engineering – are designated as National Distinctive Programmes and National First-Class Undergraduate Programmes. To strengthen faculty development and meet teaching requirements, the School is now openly recruiting one Mathematics Lecturer and one to three Chemistry Lecturers to deliver courses in French. Details are as follows:
I. Recruitment Requirements:
1. Possess sound ideological and political qualities, demonstrate loyalty and dedication to the Party's educational cause, and adhere to the Constitution, laws, regulations, and social ethics;
2. Hold a doctoral degree from a high-calibre university or research institution, either domestically or internationally;
3. Be proficient in French with the ability to deliver courses in mathematics, chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science in French. Candidates with higher education received in France or an educational background from French engineering schools are preferred.
4. Possess physical and psychological fitness commensurate with the role, demonstrate adaptability to the position's demands, and be willing to develop within a multicultural context while collaborating with both Chinese and French teams.
II. Responsibilities
Undertake teaching duties for mathematics, chemistry, or engineering-related courses in chemical engineering and materials science during the preparatory phase of the French-language programme at the International School of Excellence in Engineering. Fulfil the teaching workload required by the School and participate in relevant public service activities.
III. Recruitment Procedure
1. Application submission period : 2 January 2025 to 30 September 2025.

3. Final candidates will undergo university approval, evaluation, and public notification.
