Though winter's chill had yet to arrive, the sun still shone brightly, mirroring the fervent hearts of International Elite Engineering School students facing competition. The dragon boat race, a traditional and distinctive event at our university, was grandly held on 14th November 2020 !

That morning, the International Elite Engineering School Dragon Boat Team conducted their final training session upon the rippling waters of Tonghai Lake. After rigorous practice, every member brimmed with confidence. Facing fifteen formidable opponents, the International Elite Engineering School paddlers approached the race with assured composure and fearless resolve.

Along the shores of Tonghai Lake, where gentle ripples caressed the banks, the well-drilled team members paddled in perfect synchronisation, their strokes coordinated to the beat. Under the blazing sun, they charged forward with determination, their spirits soaring as they sliced through the water.

Ultimately, theInternational Elite Engineering School achieved an impressive fifth place!

The fervent 2020 Freshers' Sports Day drew to a close amidst the cheers of the dragon boat race. Yet the spirit of unity and perseverance displayed by the International Elite Engineering School students extends far beyond a single sports event. Gathered from all corners of the globe, united by a common goal, youth fuels their drive, solidarity binds them through thick and thin – this era belongs to them !
