2025-11-13

To implement the spirit of the university's undergraduate teaching meeting, strengthen exam discipline, and foster a fair, just, and honest exam environment, the International Elite Engineering School held a specialized training session on exam invigilation on November 13, 2025. The session was chaired by Wang Li, Vice Dean of the school, with all invigilators in attendance.

The training focused on the East China University of Science and Technology Full-Time Undergraduate Course Assessment Management Regulations (Revised) and related exam management systems, with key explanations on invigilation responsibilities, exam room discipline, and procedures for handling misconduct. Participants systematically studied operational guidelines for ID verification, exam room preparation, test paper distribution, exam supervision, post-exam collection, and handling of irregularities, further clarifying the primary responsibilities of lead invigilators in maintaining exam order. Additionally, the training included discussions on common exam-related issues and responses to emergencies, allowing invigilators to share practical experience and enhance their crisis management skills.

The session emphasized the need for all invigilators to strengthen their sense of responsibility, strictly enforce exam discipline, and resolutely prevent and eliminate cheating. This training not only represents a key step in implementing the university's academic integrity initiatives but also provides solid institutional and personnel support for upcoming examinations.
